Privacy Policy
What we collect
Your name, email, phone number, country, booking dates, guest count, special requests and payment status. Card and Mobile Money details are handled by Paystack; we never store full card numbers or PINs.
How we use it
To confirm and manage your booking, contact you about your stay, process payments, meet legal and tax obligations, improve our services and — only if you subscribe — send occasional offers.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run the resort (such as Paystack for payments and our hosting provider), or when required by law. We do not sell your data.
Retention
Booking and financial records are kept as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. You may ask us to delete marketing data at any time.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to marketing. Email frontdesk@veniceviewbeach.com.
Cookies and Google Ads
Essential cookies keep the site working and remember sign-in. We also use the Google Ads tag (Google) for advertising measurement. When allowed, Google receives device and browser information, page URLs, advertising interactions and cookie identifiers. We do not send names, emails or phone numbers to Google, and have not enabled enhanced conversions or personalised advertising. Confirmed paid bookings also send their booking reference, amount and currency to Google Ads as purchase conversions. Your browser keeps a record of sent or blocked conversions with the advertising choice and region used.
Terms and privacy acceptance records
When you tick or untick the agreement box during booking, we record the date and time, choice, booking page, agreement version and wording, plus your IP address and approximate country detected by our hosting provider when available. This country may reflect a VPN or network location rather than your nationality. If you continue, we link that record to your name, email, phone and booking reference so staff can confirm what you accepted.
Advertising choices
In regions requiring consent, advertising stays off until you accept. If your region cannot be determined, we also ask before loading Google Ads. Elsewhere, ordinary advertising measurement is enabled unless you reject it or signal an applicable opt-out, including Global Privacy Control. Use Advertising settings at any time to accept or reject. Refusal stops future advertising tracking; previously shared data is not recalled. Your browser stores a visitor reference and a history of choices with their date, region and the notice shown, including earlier acceptance if you later withdraw. Clearing browser storage removes this local record and may cause us to ask again. Google handles received data under its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Security
Data is stored on secure, encrypted infrastructure with access limited to authorised staff.
